#HowToDoPtEngagement
A social media conversation
#HowNotToDoPtEngagement and #HowToDoPtEngagement were Twitter hashtags started in 2018 by @couragesings, and was quickly adopted by more than 80 unique patient partners, caregivers and advocates from within and outside Canada.
Over the course of a few weeks, these individuals and organizations shared some, quite frankly, troubling ways that they had experienced "engagement" in clinical care and research. Through the sharing of these experiences, I learned more than I had yet to learn in reading the literature available at that time on "best practices", and figured others might benefit from this discourse, too. |
